However, Pat has had tough times in his life as well. Cummins was around three years old when he lost part of his finger. The middle finger of his right hand is the same length as his index finger. Despite this challenge, Cummins has become a legendary fast bowler.

Cummins is about to raise his standards to a new level. Sunrisers Hyderabad, who had been struggling in the Indian Premier League (IPL), have finally advanced to the final this season under Cummins’ leadership.

Cummins lost his mother, Maria, in March 2023. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and battled it till the very end. 

The Australian cricketer has recently recalled his mother’s last Words to him, and it seems like his mother knew exactly how talented her son is.
