Sixth Time The Charm: Guyana Amazon Warriors Finally Lift Their Maiden CPL Trophy

Guyana Amazon Warriors won their maiden CPL title by defeating Trinbago Knight Riders by nine wickets. Guyana Amazon just dominated over the opponent in the final clash. On September 25, they named the CPL title at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. Dwaine Pretorius was the star of the show. He took four wickets in 26 runs.

While batting first Trinbago Knight Riders scored 94 and put on a target of 95 in front of the opponent. Guyana dominated the whole match in their way. Tribango captain Kieron Pollard went on a duck. Keacy Carty scored 38 out of 45 balls. This was the highest score from their side in the match. Apart from him, any batter could not stand tall in front of the opponent. 

It was a pretty easy target for Guyana. Keemo Paul got out by scoring 11 in 11 balls. Saim Ayub scored 52 in 41 balls and Shai Hope 32 out of 32 balls. Ayub smashed some balls out of the park. Within the 14 over they reached the target.  Akeal Hosein took the only wicket from the Tribango side. Dwaine Pretorius was declared the Player of The Match. Shai Hope bagged the Player of The Tournament.
