Shaheen Afridi gave the perfect start to Australia in the second semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup. Chasing 177, the main challenge for Australia was to survive in the Powerplay. On the other hand, Powerplay is the strength for Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Pakistan scored 176 runs thanks to some classy innings by Babar Azam (39), Fakhar Azam (55), and Mohammad Rizwan (67). During the chase, Australia’s main threat was the deadly Shaheen Shah Afridi in the Powerplay. However, Afridi struck within first three balls and dismissed Australia captain Aaron Finch for for a duck. He trapped Finch straight in front and Australia were 1/1 in no time.
He did the same in the India match as well and gave major breakthroughs to Pakistan. In this match against Australia, so far, Afridi has bowled two overs, took a wicket conceding eight runs. No wonder, the netizens cannot stop praising Afridi for his skills.
