Shaheen Shah Afridi Hails Mohammad Rizwan as ‘Bradman of T20 Cricket’ for 3000 Runs Achievement

The T20 World Cup is set to commence soon. Teams are preparing hard to conquer in the tournament. On one side IPL is going on and on the other side, Pakistan is facing New Zealand in a five-match T20 series. In the T20 series, Mohammad Rizwan completed 3000 runs in the T20 format. After that, Shaheen Afridi praised him on social media. 

Mohammad Rizwan’s T20 Milestone and Shaheen Afridi’s Comment:

During the recent T20I clash against New Zealand, Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan reached a noteworthy milestone, amassing 3000 runs in T20 International cricket. This accomplishment solidifies his stature as one of Pakistan’s premier batters, joining the ranks of captain Babar Azam as the only other Pakistani player to achieve this feat. Rizwan’s achievement reflects his consistent performance and valuable contributions to the national team’s success.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, the leading force in Pakistan’s bowling lineup, took to social media to commend Rizwan’s achievement. In a heartfelt message, Afridi praised Rizwan’s batting prowess and even drew parallels between him and the legendary Don Bradman. He said, “Cheers to Muhammad Rizwan – the Bradman of T20 cricket and Pakistan’s SuperMan for hitting 3,000 T20I runs! Your impact has transformed the game and silenced the skeptics. Keep soaring, champion! You’re an inspiration to many,”

Pakistan’s Performance in the T20 Series:

Before the T20 World Cup, all the teams are preparing hard. To prepare for the big tournament, Pakistan is playing a five-match T20 series. The first match was washed out due to rain. In the second match, Pakistan played exceptionally well. They troubled the Kiwi batters in the first innings and stopped their innings by only 90 runs. Shaheen Afridi played well. He picked up 3 wickets in 13 runs.  Mohammad Amir and Abrar Ahmed took 1 wicket each. In the second innings, Mohammad Rizwan played an unbeaten inning of 45 runs. They won the match by 7 wickets. 

In the third match, New Zealand played exceptionally well. While batting first, Saim Ayub scored 32 runs in 22 balls and skipper Babar Azam scored 37 runs in 29 balls. Irfan Khan played an unbeaten knock of 30 runs. Shadab Khan played a knock of 41 runs in 20 balls. While bowling, Abbas Afridi took 2 wickets in 27 runs. Naseem Shah took 1 wicket in 44 runs. But New Zealand outplayed them by their brilliance and won the match by 7 wickets.
