Coach’s View on Upcoming Fixtures:

In their recent clash against Punjab, KKR faltered in defending 261 runs as PBKS capitalized on Jonny Bairstow’s sensational century to achieve the highest-ever successful chase in IPL history. Despite a nail-biting 1-run victory against RCB after posting 222, KKR faced a setback against Rajasthan, failing to defend the same total following a remarkable hundred by Jos Buttler.

Before facing Delhi Capitals, KKR head Chandrakant Pandit is all positive. He said, “In the middle of the tournament, we can’t keep cribbing about it, we have to see what is in our control and how to execute our plans.”

After that, he added, “We want to look at the positive side of it. The result may have gone the other way. But the team is really playing well. We played superb cricket. To put up 260-plus also requires equal effort. It’s not that team is getting bowled out for 100-150 runs. We are full of confidence.”
