Rohit Sharma Signs New “Team India T20I Jersey”, To Be Kept In Narendra Modi Stadium 

The Indian cricket team will soon assemble for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024, which begins next month in the West Indies and the United States.

The players for almost all teams to participate in the world cup are currently busy with the IPL 2024. 

The selectors have revealed the names of the players who will go to the West to compete in the championship event. Rohit Sharma and his team will begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5.

Fans are excited to witness one of the most exciting matches of the tournament: India vs Pakistan, which will be played on June 9 in Nassau County, New York.

BCCI unveils new T20I kit, signs jersey to be kept as memorabilia 

BCCI launched the new kit for the T20I series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the presence of Rohit and BCCI board Secretary Jay Shah. 

The Indian skipper arrived at the event wearing a new look white polo shirt with black stripes on the shoulders, which is likely to be the team’s travel kit for the upcoming tournament.The captain then previewed the new blue training kit, which also featured shades of yellow and black, before revealing the new jersey for the upcoming tournament.

Rohit Sharma also signed one of the new jerseys that features the Indian-tricolor on it’s collar. The signed jersey will be kept as a token of memory in the Narendra Modi stadium, Ahmedabad.

Team India To be dispersed in 2 phases

The BCCI had earlier confirmed that due to tight scheduling because of the IPL 2024 season, the Indian team for T20 World Cup 2024 will be leaving for the USA In Two phases. 

The first batch will consist of the players who have been out of the race for the IPL 2024 playoffs, as well as the coaching staff for the team. This batch is set to leave for the USA on 24 May, 2024. 

Additionally, the second batch will be dispersed on 26 May 2024, right after the conclusion of IPL 2024 season. This will give ample time to the team for practicing as the T20 World Cup starts on June 1.
