Rohit Sharma becomes the first player for MI to score 5000 runs

The newly introduced opening duo of Vivrant Sharma and Mayank Agarwal scored 140 runs for the first wicket as SRH, who had been requested to bat first, put on a convincing performance. Madhwal dismissed both batters after they had scored 69 (from Vivrant) and 47 (from Mayank), respectively. Mumbai will seek to improve their chances in the three-way play-off match for the last berth by winning. Hyderabad, on the other hand, will want to finish things off with a bang, and if they succeed, Rajasthan will still be in the race.
