A former member of the Chennai Super Kings and an integral part of India’s inaugural ICC T20 World Cup-winning squad in South Africa in 2007, Uthappa has consistently delivered match-winning performances throughout his career. The SA20 Season 2 auction, scheduled for September 27 in Johannesburg, holds the promise of a historic moment as Robin Uthappa aims to break new ground. Among the notable names are Kane Richardson (Australia), Colin de Grandhomme (New Zealand), Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Nawaz (Pakistan), Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka), and Johnson Charles and Romario Shepherd (West Indies). These players add to the allure of what promises to be a thrilling season. 

Among the international players in the auction, fourteen have set their base price at the maximum Rand 850,000 (approximately US $45,000).
