Roaring Ravindra gets to the of 3000 runs mark…..

Ravindra Jadeja during the third session on the first day of the 3rd test between India and England scored a dominating century and is still unshaken by the English bowling attack. He completed 3000 runs in test cricket with this Brave century in the third match. He made several records during his innings. The English bowlers were breathing fire in the first hour of the game where the Rajkot’s very own All-rounder came and calmed things down with another centurion Rohit Sharma.

The haunting first session

Ravindra Jadeja came after loss of Yashashvi Jaiswal, Shubman gill and the inexperienced Rajat Patidar. He first knit up a beautiful partnership with Rohit Sharma where the scoring rate was around 3.5 runs per over.

Later they both went for their shots where the Right-Left hand combination played a massive role.

The dominance in 2nd and 3rd session

The second session was the first session in this whole series where not a single wicket went down. The two most experienced batters showed their skills and Ravindra Jadeja on the second last ball of the day completed 3000 test runs after a mesmerizing flick shot to Jimmy Anderson.

Jadeja became only the third All-rounder after the great Kapil Dev and his partner in crime Ravi Ashwin to take more than 200 wickets and also score more than 3000 runs in Test cricket.

Jadeja at Rajkot; A sight to behold

Ravindra Jadeja has astonishing figures at SCA Stadium, Rajkot where he has scored 1564 runs at an unbelievable average of 142.18 in just 12 matches. He also has scored a first-class triple century in this ground in the Ranji trophy.

Arguably one of the the greatest test All-rounder of this generation has also made the most 50+ scores in Test cricket by any Indian batsman since 2020 in India. That shows the consistency of his scoring those crucial runs down the order.

Expectations and complains

Jadeja along with the Night watchman Kuldeep Yadav is still standing tall at the wicket with the team score at 326-5. Rohit Sharma came back to form and played a gem of an innings before falling prey to his greatest strength, The Pull Shot.

The other top 3 batters went out cheaply where Shubman scored a 9-ball duck. The Indian team will look to take this score to 450+ and England will look to get Jadeja in the morning and finish the Indian tail under 400.
