Riyan Parag might be one of the loving cricketers on social media, but at present he is the troll target of most fans. And, that is all because of his current form. Parag became the youngest player to score an IPL fifty. He debuted in 2019 IPL for Rajasthan Royals after being roped in by them ahead of the auction. Parag was a member of India’s Under 19 World Cup squad and looked like a promising cricketer.
After playing seven matches in his debut season, Parag was expected to come better in next. But in IPL 2020 he failed to score enough runs as he managed only 84 runs in 10 matches. In IPL 2021, once again everyone expected him to make a comeback. Rajasthan Royals are known for giving opportunities to fresh faces and fringe players. There have been a number of such players who have proved themselves as fine players as part of Rajasthan Royals set-up. But after multiple opportunities, Parag has failed to do well.
Even in today’s match when Sanju Samson left after anchoring the RR innings, Parag walked in only to leave in the next ball. So, now the fans that have shown enough love to him throughout are now trolling him for his constant failures.
