After getting out very early at the warm-up match, Sanju Samson was not picked in the playing 11 against Ireland. Instead of him, Rishabh Pant was played as first choice wicket-keeper and he played beautifully against Ireland.
After the match, Rishabh Pant did a question-and-answer session on his YouTube channel. Where he was asked a lot of questions regarding every aspect of his life and professional career. In that session, he was asked about his and Sanju Samson’s friendship.
While answering the question, Rishabh said, “We have a very good friendship, Sanju is chill & relaxed, as you know a lot of things go around social media but individually we don’t focus on these things and we are teammates – we admire & respect each other a lot”.
