RCB’s Rajat Patidar Praises Virat Kohli For Prioritizing The Team, Wants To Learn From Him

Patidar lauds Kohli for leadership skills

RCB’s star batter Rajat Patidar lauded ex-captain Virat Kohli for bringing energy on the field that helped everyone step up their game and in maintaining a great atmosphere in the team.

Rajat Patidar said, “Virat bhaiya always keeps the team first and the team’s priority first. It’s great to keep learning from him”.

Following his side’s win, Patidar further added, “Virat Kohli bhaiya’s energy infectious on the field. Whether we are behind or ahead in the match, his energy always lifts the whole team. His energy on the field gives us the motivation and confidence to play better.”

Rajat’s performance this season

Patidar has scored 361 runs in 14 matches and 12 innings this season, with an average of 30.08 and a strike rate of 179.60, including five half-centuries.

 His highest score is 55. His form in the second half of the season, including quickfire half-centuries and an assault on spin-bowling, helped RCB qualify based on net run rate.

On his performance and the support from the senior RCB players, Patidar said – “My role was clear and all I wanted to do was execute it correctly. Our team has many experienced players, such as DK , Virat, Faf , and Green. The things I have gotten a chance to learn from them have helped me a lot.”

RCB is set to face off against Rajasthan Royals on 22 May, in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
