Ravindra Jadeja and Wife Rivaba Fulfill Civic Duty, Cast Votes in Gujarat During Phase 3 of Lok Sabha Election

Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, along with his wife Rivaba, who is a BJP MLA from Jamnagar North, voted in Gujarat during the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections. Jadeja, who plays for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, flew down from Dharamsala, where he played against Punjab on Sunday, to cast his vote.

Jadeja shared a photo of his ink-stained finger on Instagram, encouraging his followers to exercise their voting rights. Rivaba had cast her vote earlier in the day, and Jadeja joined her later. Rivaba shared her voting experience on social media, emphasizing the importance of voting in securing India’s future.

Indian cricketers have been actively participating in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. Head coach Rahul Dravid and former cricketer Anil Kumble were among the first to vote in Bengaluru, setting an example for others.

Jadeja made the most of the break between IPL games, winning the Player of the Match award in his last game for his performance with both bat and ball. He will look to continue his good form as CSK prepares to face Gujarat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Jadeja’s form will be crucial for India in the upcoming T20 World Cup, where he is part of the 15-man squad. India will be counting on him to deliver with both bat and ball in the tournament, which begins on June 2 in the USA and the West Indies.
