After completing IPL, Team India flew back to New York for the tournament and faced Bangladesh in their lone warm-up match. In that match, Team India showcased their excellence and defeated Bangladesh. Now, they will face Ireland in their first match of this edition of the tournament.
Before facing Ireland, India’s head coach Rahul Dravid met in a press conference. While answering a question in Hindi, Dravis said, “Iss format mein, ye format hi yehi hai ki aap kisi ko nazarandaaz ya lightly nahi le sakte (This format itself is such that you just cannot overlook anyone or take anyone lightly).”
After that, he expressed his delight after using the Urdu word impressively. The outgoing head coach praised himself with a pat on the back, showing pride in his language skills. He said, “Waah! Not bad,”
