Ellis bags 4
Punjab Kings pacer Nathan Ellis took the first 4-wicket haul of his IPL career today. The Aussie pacer dismissed the likes of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal, and Riyan Parag to set Rajasthan on the back foot and played a huge role in Punjab’s victory today. With his bolstering pace, he has now cracked into the top 5 of the Purple Cap and is now ranked 4th below Mark Wood, Rashid Khan, and Ravi Bishnoi.
A forgettable day for Chahal

Nonetheless, he is currently placed at the 5th spot in the points table with 5 wickets to his name in 2 games.
On the other hand, his teammate, Jason Holder had a pretty decent game with the bowl as he picked up the wickets of Prabhsimran Singh and Shahrukh Khan and finished with figures of 2 for 29 in his four overs. With this, he has made his way into the top 10, being at the 10th spot currently with 3 wickets in 2 games.
Arshdeep expensive yet effective
Even though Arshdeep leaked 47 runs in his four overs today, he managed to get both of Rajasthan’s openers out to set Punjab on the right path in the second inning. He is placed at the 7th spot with 5 wickets in 2 games but has the worst economy compared to other bowlers in the top 10 Purple Cap list.
