Purple Cap Holder of IPL 2020: Updated After SRH vs DC Match 47

There was hardly any success for Delhi Capitals bowler on Tuesday against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The top batsmen of the Hyderabad team were flawless today to put a target of 220 ahead of the Capitals. The only couple of wickets were taken by Anrich Nortje (4-0-37-1) and Ravichandran Ashwin (3-0-35-1). Even though Kagiso Rabada had a poor outing today as he gave away 54 runs in four overs to record himself as the most expensive bowler of DC today, Rabada continues to stay at the top of the Purple Cap table. Nortje is another DC bowlers to have ranked in the following table at 8th.

The third name in the following table is arguably the best T20 bowler in the world now. Rashid Khan, the SRH star once again proved his mettle and took three wickets for just seven runs in four overs. Sandeep Sharma and T Natarajan took two major wickets each. Shahbaz Nadeem, Jason Holder, and Vijay Shankar scalped one wicket each. However, Khan is the only representative from the Hyderabad team in the Purple Cap table as of now with Natarajan ranked at 12th.
