The winners of Match 12 of IPL 2020 were the bowlers from both sides. During Kolkata Knight Riders’ batting Jofra Archer was brilliant as he gave away only 18 runs in his four overs and took two major wickets. Gill, the highest run-scorer was sent back to the pavilion by the deadly Archer. In reply, Rajasthan Royals had an even worse batting experience against KKR bowlers.
For KKR two youngsters shined today against the experienced Royals batting line-up. Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti took two wickets each for 20 runs in four and 13 runs in two overs respectively. Varun Chakravarthy also scalped two major wickets whereas the rest of the KKR bowlers picked up one wicket each. Nagarkoti, for his brilliance with bowling, dedicated fielding, and valuable 5-ball eight runs were awarded the man-of-the-match award. But it was Mavi who claimed a top ten position in the Purple Cap table.
