Parthiv Patel involves in a fight with a journalist on Twitter

Piyush Chawla bowled exceedingly well for the Mumbai Indians yesterday against the Delhi Capitals. One of the primary forces behind Mumbai Indians’ 6-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals was Piyush Chawla (DC). With his spectacular leg-spin bowling, the leg-spinner delivered superbly and left the Delhi hitters looking foolish.

Parthiv Patel, a former Indian cricketer, reacted angrily to a tweet that made fun of Piyush Chawla’s performance in the 16th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The bowler is a two-time World Cup champion, he said in response to the user’s comment that he was a “leggie who doesn’t even plays for his state.”

The David Warner-led team failed to get going against a leggie who doesn’t even play for a state team, according to a sports journalist who mocked the team and leg-spinner on Twitter after Delhi hitters had trouble getting going against Piyush Chawla.

The Tweet

“Delhi Capitals? No. It’s Delhi Capitulates. Too many cricketing brains sitting in the dug out but in the middle their batsmen were clueless against a leggie who doesn’t even plays for his state,” the Twitter user said.

Parthiv Patel’s reply

“That leggie is a 2 time World Cup winner with 161 ipl wickets his name is PIYUSH CHAWLA…and he does play for GUJARAT as a professional player…”

Piyush Chawla has been bowling exceptionally effectively in the league thus far despite not being purchased for the IPL 2022. His best effort came against DC, where he picked up 3 wickets and helped MI bowl out the opposition for just 172 runs by dismantling their defensive line.
