The said tournament is going to be co hosted by the USA as well as West Indies and it starts on June 1. The competition is going to go on, until 29 June, with the initial matches being held in USA.

India’s first match for the tournament is set to be held against Ireland on June 5 in the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Shahid Afridi is worried for team Pakistan

Former Pakistani All-rounder Shahid Afridi has highlighted that the Pakistan men’s team should try to work on their middle-over strike rate.

It is usually the middle order batsmen who stretch a team’s total run score in a match.

“The thing that bothers me is the strike rate of our batters, especially in between the seven to thirteen over phase. I hope that the strike rate improves in that phase. In terms of runs per over, eight or nine runs per over are needed but still Pakistan is my favourite,” said Shahid as quoted by ICC.

The squad representing Pakistan in the WT20C is:  Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan, Azam Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed

India vs Pakistan match

India is going to compete in a match against their long time rivals, the Pakistan Cricket Team on June 9 in the WT20C. The match is going to be held at the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The preparations for this match are in full flow, with ICC announcing 8 different “fanparks” that will telecast the match.

Recently, Indian businessman Nirav Modi has bashed the ICC for pricing the tickets too high for the fan-favorite clash. The tickets for INDvsPAK go as expensive as 20000$ for a seat.

The match is definitely going to be a very thrilling one, with fans from both sides excited to see their team play and hopefully win.
