Devdutt Padikkal continued to showcase his skills in the much significant match against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday. It was his fighting 45-ball 74 runs including 12 fours and one six that Royal Challengers Bangalore could put 164 for the loss of six wickets on board. The second-highest scorer of the match was Josh Philippe who added 33 runs off 24 balls. In reply, Suryakumar Yadav like always proved his ability and scored an unbeaten 43-ball 79 to help his side win an important match of the league. His innings was decorated with 10 fours and three sixes. He ensured that Mumbai Indians become the first team to enter the next stage of the league with absolute brilliance. Ishan Kishan added 25 runs and Quinton de Kock scored 18.
Virat Kohli in current at 4th rank of Orange Cap table followed by Padikkal at 5th. Quinton de Kock is the sole representative of Mumbai Indians camp in the following table with Suryakumar Yadav standing at 11th.
