While speaking at an interview, Australian batsman remarked that Virat is the better cricketer. “I am going to say Virat Kohli is better than Sachin Tendulkar in ODIs. If you look at the stats, he has almost taken over how many hundreds he has got, and he has played so many more less games. Sachin was the benchmark for when I grew up, but what Kohli is doing right now-no one has ever done that in the game”, Usman stated.
Comparing Tendulkar and Kohli
India’s Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has an extraordinary record for smashing 10,000 runs in ODI Cricket. He has scored 49 centuries and 96 half centuries in 463 ODI matches while Virat is just two centuries short to break Sachin’s record. Kohli has already smashed 47 centuries in 284 ODI matches. Kohli is definitely one the greatest cricketers and his dedication and consistency in the journey of chasing runs has always been of top most importance for team India.
