Noor Ahmed Excited to Elevate His Game in IPL 2024 with Gujarat Titans

Noor Ahmed, the young spinner from Gujarat Titans (GT), shared his enthusiasm about being part of the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL) ahead of their upcoming clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS). Having previously played 13 matches in the IPL, Noor expressed his anticipation for an improved performance this year, stating, “I had never played at such a high level and last year I played 13 matches in the IPL. So, I was expecting a better version of myself this year and I think I feel better and I feel relaxed.”

He highlighted the rigorous practice sessions the team undergoes, which start at 3 PM and extend till 9 or 10 in the night. According to Noor, these sessions offer everyone a comprehensive opportunity to refine their batting, bowling, and fielding skills, presenting a platform for personal growth within the sport.

Noor also commended the supportive staff of the franchise, particularly their coach, for simplifying the game and providing invaluable guidance during matches. He mentioned, “They are such entertainers, always keep me and all the boys entertained. It’s great to have them by your side. Of course, he makes things simple for me and for everyone. During matches, he gives the best advice. And that’s all about him, he makes things simple for us.”

Despite Gujarat Titans currently holding the eighth position in the IPL 2024 points table with six points from seven matches, Noor and the team remain optimistic about their performance for the remainder of the tournament. Led by Shubman Gill, the team is determined to bounce back and make a mark in the competition.
