Mushfiqur Rahim’s ‘Kick The  Stump’ moment caught netizen’s attention in The 3rd ODI Against New Zealand

World Cup 2023 is just a few sleeps away. The final ODI series is going on between Bangladesh and New Zealand. They are facing each other in the final clash of this series. This is the final rehearsal stage for both teams ahead of the World Cup. but in this 3rd ODI, something interesting happened with Mushfiqur Rahim. Netizens are going crazy after watching this video.

The exact matter:

In the third ODI, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. But Bangladesh lost three wickets in the first three overs. This was a setback for the team. After that, Shanto scored a vital knock for the team. He made a valuable partnership with Hridoy. Shanto played a knock of 72 by 84 balls including 10 boundaries. But Kiwi bowler Adam Milne broke the partnership by dismissing Hridoy on 18 runs.

After that, Mushfiqur Rahim joined. Netizens are going crazy over his out. His dismissal happened in the 16th over. Kiwi bowler Lockie Ferguson bowled a quick short delivery. He defended the ball but because of the bounce, it spun back towards the stump. This Bangladeshi batter kicks the ball away but unfortunately, he hit the bail before his leg hit the stumps.

Scenario before the World Cup:

It is almost the time for World Cup. it is the last series before the World Cup for both teams. New Zealand is leading the series by 1-0. This is a big boost for the Kiwis before the World Cup. On the other hand, Bangladesh needs to rectify those mistakes and learn from them before the World Cup. 

After this series, all teams will play warm-up matches ahead of the World Cup. On September 29, New Zealand will face Pakistan in their first warm-up match. On October 2, they will face South Africa in the second warm-up match.

On the other side, Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka on September 29. In the second warm-up match, Bangladesh will play against England. The World Cup will be starting from October 5. England and New Zealand will lock horns in the inaugural match.
