Theekshana has joined the CSK camp ahead of their important clash against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk on Wednesday. This is a huge boost for the side as the Chennai wicket assists the spinners. Theekshana has got many variations under his sleeves and could be more than a handful on this wicket. He can bowl in any phase of the innings and walks straight into the Chennai side.Â
Sri Lankan Duo returns to the side
The addition of Sri Lankan bowlers might benefit Chennai’s team, which at the moment appears to have some bowling weaknesses. Theekshana could bowl in middle overs, death overs, and power plays. Theekshana, along with other spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner, might be a crucial component in their bowling attack because MA Chidambaram Stadium is known for its spin-friendly grounds.
