Krunal Pandya’s Explosive Batting and Tactical Approach Steal the Show

The 11th match of the IPL is witnessing some exciting knocks from the Lucknow Super Giants. Ekana Stadium is hosting the match between Lucknow Suoer Giants and Punjab Kings. The match became interesting as Nicholas Pooran and Krunal Pandya played crucial knocks and pushed the game. After the innings break, Krunal Pandya shared his thoughts. 

Krunal’s Brave Knock:

In the first home game of the Super Giants, they met Punjab Kings, Lucknow started decently. But they lost quick wickets of KL Rahul and Devdutt Padikkal. After Nicholas Pooran was dismissed, Krunal Joined Ayush Badoni. On that crucial point, Krunal played some outstanding shots. He remained unbeaten on 43 runs in just 22 balls depending on those knocks. He smashed 4 boundaries and 2 over-boundaries. 

After their innings break, Krunal opened up. He said, “ I like to play situations, I am prepared that way, I am quite flexible, can bat anywhere from number 3 to number 7. Just want to go out there and contribute. I like to prepare, take cricket as an exam. Like to prepare, but the result is not in my hand.”

After some amazing display by the LSG batters, they managed to score 199. While talking about the competitive total, Pandya said, “199 is a good total, if we bowl smartly we can defend this. The surface has changed, much better than last year. Need to adapt to the conditions. Need to bowl accordingly and see how it goes.”

Brave Batting by the Batters:

After winning the toss, LSG opted to bat first. Surprisingly, KL Rahul came as an impact player when Nicholas Pooran is leading the team. But Rahul walked away on 15 runs. Padikkal was dismissed on 9 runs. But Quinton de Kock stood strong. He played an innings of 54 runs,

After that, Nicholas Pooran added 42 runs in 21 balls. Ayush Badoni failed again. He walked away after scoring 8 runs. At that point, Krunal Pandya played a crucial role. He remained unbeaten on 43 runs in 22 balls with 4 boundaries and 2 over-boundaries. Depending on all these knocks, they set a target of 200 runs.
