India is still unbeaten in this tournament and on the other hand, England only won 1 match till now. They are searching for their desired win and India is trying hard to continue to be unbeaten. Dinesh Karthik’s Take on Rahul’s Dismissals:

An intense battle is going on between India and England. Initially, India didn’t have a great start. Star opener Shubhman Gill got out on 9 runs in 13 balls. After that David Willy picked up Virat Kohli on 0. That was a big setback for the team.  This was not the end. Shreyas Iyer got out in a delivery of Chris Woakes. 

After that, KL Rahul came. He played a knock of 39 runs in 58 balls. He was going great but David Willy showed his strike again. In the 31st over, Willy bowled the delivery into the pitches, and Rahul could not decide how to play that. It went through a lofted drive, the ball went on high. Jonny Bairstow took the easy catch. 

After this out, Dinesh Karthik talked about this. He said, “ Jos Buttler keeping his legs out when KL was playing the late cut, so even if the batter misses, it doesn’t go for four. MS Dhoni was the first one I saw doing this.”

India’s performance:

After winning the toss, Jos Buttler decided to bowl first. India didn’t start their innings well. India lost a quick wicket of Shubhman Gill in the 4th overs. He got out on 9 runs. Virat Kohli was dismissed on ) by a delivery of David Willy. Shreyas Iyer was the second wicket of Chris Woakes. He got out by scoring 4 runs in 16 balls.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul took the innings a little bit long. KL Rahul played an innings of 39 runs in 58 balls. Rohit Sharma played a captain’s innings. He scored 87 runs in 101 balls. His inning was contained with 10 boundaries and 3 over-boundaries. Suryakumar Yadav missed a well-deserved half-century by 1 run. David Willy dismissed him in 49 runs. At the end of 50 overs, India scored 229 runs. England will fight hard to win the match and Indian bowlers will try to dominate them.
