As a devoted follower of Lord Ram, Maharaj’s pilgrimage to the temple holds profound significance. With the backdrop of the upcoming IPL 2024 season, Maharaj, representing Lucknow Super Giants, seized the opportunity to pay homage to his spiritual beliefs. In a heartfelt post on social media, Maharaj conveyed his reverence with folded hands, captioning the image with a sincere ‘Jai Shree Raam’ and extending blessings to all. This gesture not only reflects Maharaj’s spiritual devotion but also highlights the intertwining of faith and sport, showcasing the diverse dimensions of athletes beyond the cricket field.

Additionally, head coach Justin Langer, along with fielding coach Jonty Rhodes, players Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda, Yash Thakur, and Prerak Mankad also embarked on a visit to Ayodhya.
