Keshav Maharaj and Other LSG Stars Visit Ram Temple in Ayodhya Before IPL 2024

IPL is just a day away. On March 22, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru.  All the players are gearing up well for the tournament. The scenario is the same for the Lucknow Super Giants. They will face Rajasthan Royals in the first match on April 24. Before that, Keshav Maharaj and some other members of LSG visited Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. 

Keshav Maharaj in Ram Mandir:

South African cricket sensation Keshav Maharaj realized a long-held aspiration on Thursday, March 21, by visiting the renowned Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Known for his devout reverence towards Lord Ram, Maharaj delightedly shared a snapshot of his visit on Instagram, symbolizing a moment of personal significance and spiritual fulfillment.

As a devoted follower of Lord Ram, Maharaj’s pilgrimage to the temple holds profound significance. With the backdrop of the upcoming IPL 2024 season, Maharaj, representing Lucknow Super Giants, seized the opportunity to pay homage to his spiritual beliefs. In a heartfelt post on social media, Maharaj conveyed his reverence with folded hands, captioning the image with a sincere ‘Jai Shree Raam’ and extending blessings to all. This gesture not only reflects Maharaj’s spiritual devotion but also highlights the intertwining of faith and sport, showcasing the diverse dimensions of athletes beyond the cricket field.

Other LSG Members in Ram Mandir:

Additionally, head coach Justin Langer, along with fielding coach Jonty Rhodes, players Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda, Yash Thakur, and Prerak Mankad also embarked on a visit to Ayodhya. This collective journey to the revered city signifies a shared reverence for spiritual heritage among the team members. Lucknow Super Giants has made an amazing squad. In the retention stage, they traded Devdutt Padikkal from Rajasthan Royals. Other talents like Arshin Kulkarni, Shivam Mavi, and Ayush Badoni are there in the team. KL Rahul is back in the squad after recovering from the injury. In this season, they will try hard to have an outstanding season.
