“It’s time for Africa!” Yuzvendra Chahal is All Set for the Challenges in the South Africa Tour

After the World Cup, India is heading towards another challenge. The team is touring to South Africa. Both teams will play three T20s, three ODIs, and two test matches in this series. The T20 series is already going on. BCCI released different squads for three formats. Yuzvendra Chahal is coming back to the team after a long. He will be playing three ODI matches.

Yuzvendra Chahal is a sensational spinner for Team India. But in recent days, he was not playing for India. In the World Cup, he was not in the squad. After the World Cup, Indisa played a five-match T20 series against Australia. Even in that series, Yuzi was not named in the squad. That was surprising.

Against South Africa, he has been named in the ODI squad. He came back into the squad after a long time. A bunch of played already headed to South Africa to play the T20 series. But a few players are yet to join the team. Chahal is on his way to South Africa. He posted a picture of him on the flight and captioned it “It’s time for Africa!” Fans can’t wait to see him on the field. 

Chahal’s Recent Form:

After being snubbed by the selectors, he concentrated on domestic cricket. While playing for Haryana, he proved himself once again. In the match against Uttrakhand, he claimed an amazing six-wicket haul only in 26 runs. That was the third six-wicket haul for him. With this excellent performance, he completed his 200 List A wickets.

In the quarter-final, Bengal met Haryana. Even in that match, he showcased his performance. His sensational leg spin gave tough competition to Bengal batters. In just 37 runs, he picked up 4 wickets. That helped Haryana to win the match. In 8 matches, he picked up 18 wickets. Before the big tour, this talented leg spinner of India is in excellent form. He is all set to create magic with the ball.
