The severity of Ishant Sharma’s injury became apparent as he struggled to rise from the ground after twisting his right ankle. Nagraj, reporting from the ground, highlighted the distressing scene as the physiotherapists, led by Patrick Farhart, rushed onto the field to attend to Ishant. With the assistance of a few individuals, Ishant was eventually helped up, albeit cautiously, taking ginger steps forward.

In the second match of the league, Delhi Capitals and Punjab are locking horns. After winning the toss, the PBKS skipper opted to bowl first. While batting first, Delhi Capitals started well.
