Chris Gayle
Even at 40 years age, Chris Gayle remains one of the biggest threats in IPL. He is getting starts in all the matches but not yet able to continue to get a big score but in his day, he can blast any bowling attack out of the park. In the last match against Mumbai Indians, he scored a responsible unbeaten 43 during the chase. The advantage for Gayle would be the fact that both KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal are in good form and mostly provide them with a steady opening combination. This gives Gayle a good platform from where he can just launch against the opposition bowling attack. Gayle also had quite a few memorable innings against KKR including his first IPL century and if he can bring some of his old magic back, he can be a true gamechanger for PBKS.

Andre Russell
Andre Russell is the biggest star in the KKR squad and was a true match-winner for them few seasons back. Still, he has shown glimpses of his talent in this IPL but could not take KKR to the desired results yet. There is a big debate going on regarding his batting position and most of the experts and fans are agreeing that he needs to bat up in the order to get as many deliveries to face as possible. However, the KKR team management think differently, and they like to keep the cushion of keeping Russell available till as late as possible. Russell already had a fifty against CSK where he was forced to come early due to the early wickets. Whether KKR will push him to give him at least 10 overs to bat that could be a big factor in the next match. Russell is also a handy death bowling option for KKR and already has a five-wicket haul against Mumbai.
