IPL Points Table 2020: Updated After KXIP vs DC Match 38

Even after losing a match against Kings XI Punjab on Tuesday, Delhi Capitals remain at the top of the IPL 2020 points table. However, this win helped Kings XI Punjab improve their standings.

Delhi Capitals set a target of mere 165 runs for Kings XI Punjab and out of the runs scored by their batters, Shikhar Dhawan alone added 105*. Defending the score was not an easy task and expectedly Kings XI Punjab won the match in 19 overs. Now Delhi Capitals with seven wins from 10 games, are at the top of the IPL 2002 points table followed by Mumbai Indians at 2nd place. Mumbai Indians have 12 points from nine matches. The 3rd team in the table are Royal Challengers Bangalore who has the same numbers as Mumbai Indians but the Indians have an edge of better Net Run Rate. Kolkata Knight Riders are presently at 4th position.

The lower half of the table has gone through a significant change today. Kings XI Punjab has moved up to 5th place followed by Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Chennai Super Kings at 6th, 7th, and 8th. The Royals have the same points as KXIP but are behind due to poor NRR.
