Skipper Hardik Pandya bowled 2 overs and took 21 runs but failed to secure any wickets. Jasprit Bumrah also struggled against RR. He ended up being wicketless after conceding 37 runs. 

From MI’s side, only Piyush Chawla got a wicket. He dismissed Jos Buttler. Mohammad Nabi conceded 30 runs in 3 overs. Gerald Coetzee gsve 25 runs in 2 overs. MI faced a defeat of 9 wickets.
