The Jaipur crowd experienced the real thrills. Along with exceptional batting performance in the first innings, the RR bowlers showcased their best once more. Their performances impacted the Purple Cap table.
Average Bowling by the Delhi Capitals Bowlers:
After winning the toss, DC opted to field first. They had two early successes. Mukesh Kumar dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second over. Kuldeep Yadav picked Jos Buttler’s wicket when he was batting on 11 runs. After that, Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag were building a partnership. At that moment, Khalil Ahmed dismissed the Rajasthan skipper.
They made a good effort but failed to stop youngster Riyan Parag. When Ashwin was batting on 29 runs in 19 balls, Axar Patel dismissed him. Dhruv Jurel also got dismissed by Anrich Nortje in 20 runs. All the DC bowlers got one wicket each.
RR Bowlers Showcased Talents Again:
The starting of the second innings by the DC bowlers was amazing. In the same over, Nandre Burger dismissed Mitchell Marsh and Ricky Bhui with two amazing deliveries. But David Warner was going strong. Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Rishabh Pant in 26 runs. He also dismissed Abhishek Porel. Avesh Khan took the valuable wicket of David Warner at a very crucial moment. With their excellence, RR registered their second within their second match by 12 runs.
