In the first match of March 31, Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad locked horns. Initially while bowling first, the GT bowlers dominated the SRH batters who were in great form. After giving a decent start, Azmatullah Omarzai dismissed Mayank Agarwal on 16 runs. After that, Noor Ahmed dismissed Travis’s head in 19 runs. Mohit Sharma played exceptionally well. He took 3 wickets in 25 runs. Omarzai, Umesh Yadav, Rashid Khan, and Noor Ahmed took 1 wicket each. 

While chasing the target of 163 runs. In the second innings, SRH bowlers struggled. Shahbaz Ahmed got first success. He was dismissed on 25 runs. After that, Mayank Markande picked up Shubman Gill on 36 runs. Pat Cummins took the big wicket of Sai Sudharsan. But GT outplayed him and won the match by 7 wickets. 

DC’s Comeback and CSK’s Hard Luck:

CSK entered the game with two consecutive wins. But in this match, they struggled. They faced difficulties in stopping the Delhi Capitals batters. CSK bowler Mustafizur Rahman dismissed David Warner on 52 runs. That was a crucial wicket. After that, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Prithvi Shaw. Then Matheesha Pathirana took three crucial wickets and stopped DC on 191 runs.

On the other hand, DC bowlers were amazing. Mukesh Kumar was amazing. Ajiankya Rahane was his first wicket. He ended up with 3 wickets in 21 runs. Khalil Ahmed created his magic with the ball. He took 2 wickets in 21 runs. Axar Patel ended up taking 1 wicket in 20 runs. With this unbelievable performance, Delhi Capitals registered their first win of the tournament.
