Toss delayed in KKR vs GT

The toss of the mega clash between the two teams has been delayed due to heavy rain in Ahmedabad. The match is GT’s final home-match for the season after which they will be playing in other grounds.

Hosted team KKR is on cloud nine for being able to secure a seat in the IPL playoffs for the first time in three years as they gear up to face the struggling Gujarat Titans.

The Knights faced downpour in their last match too

The rainfall seems to be destined for Kolkata, as it is their second consecutive match whose toss has been delayed due to the natural process.

Kolkata had played against Mumbai Indians last week, at Eden Gardens and the match had to be cut short to 16 overs because the toss could only take place at 9:00 pm due to the delay.

KKR won that match to get the earliest ticket for the playoffs of IPL 2024, attaining 18 points on the way.
