The Knights faced downpour in their last match too

The rainfall seems to be destined for Kolkata, as it is their second consecutive match whose toss has been delayed due to the natural process.

Kolkata had played against Mumbai Indians last week, at Eden Gardens and the match had to be cut short to 16 overs because the toss could only take place at 9:00 pm due to the delay.

KKR won that match to get the earliest ticket for the playoffs of IPL 2024, attaining 18 points on the way.
