Narayan Jagadeesan

Narayan Jagadeesan is 27 years old however despite being part of the Chennai Super Kings franchise for last few years he has just played 7 IPL games. He was an understudy of MS Dhoni and when it gave him great learning opportunity from one of the best in the business it also provided him with limited opportunity. The last 12 months was exceptional for Jagadeesan who made a World record with five consecutive List-A hundreds which included a massive 277. This season he is part of new franchise, as he will be one of the key batting stars for Kolkata Knight Riders in absence of Shreyas Iyer. Jagadeesan will hope to grab this opportunity in both hands.

Yashavi Jaiswal

The 21-year-oldYashasvi Jaiswal is already marked by many to become a future India star. The Under-19 star is part of IPL since 2020 however, it was the 2022 season when he started to flourish for Rajasthan Royals with consistent performance. The left-handed opener who more often than not played the supporting role beside a rampaging Jos Buttler, scored 258 runs in 10 matches with 2 fifties. He had a great domestic season which culminated with his double century and century in two innings in the Irani Trophy final. Jaiswal has an astonishing First-Class average of 80 and List-A average nearing 54. His T20 numbers are modest but a strike rate of 133 shows his mindset which he will hope to help his team to get their second IPL trophy.

Ayush Badoni

Lucknow Super Giants surprised everyone when they sent the young Ayush Badoni in the important number three position in the IPL 2022. Badoni is right hander aggressive batter who scored 161 runs last season with one fifty and will look to deliver more this year. His IPL heroics helped him to become a regular for the Delhi Ranji and limited over teams and in his last First-Class innings he has scored a career-best 191. Badoni will again become a key player for LSG and this innings should give me lots of confidence before showcase event.
