The mega auction ahead of IPL 2022 will be held on February 12 and 13 in Bangalore. Two new teams have joined the competition and will make IPL a 10-team affair. No wonder the weekend will be full of excitements and the auction will be bigger than ever.
As many as 74 matches are expected to be played. Several reputed overseas players will be in the auction pool along with some interesting Indian names. A list of 590 players for the IPL 2022 mega auction has been finalized among which 370 players are Indian while 270 are overseas. The 10 franchises already have a total of 33 players in their squads.
KL Rahul will the newly added Lucknow franchise while Hardik Pandya has been made the captain of Ahmedabad. Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad have assigned their captains as well while others will look for new potential captains during the process.
