IPL 2020: Probable Overseas Players of Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians would like to forget their opening match of IPL 2020 and start afresh. In their second match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Rohit Sharma led MI would try to bounce back. Following overseas players should play a big role in claiming a win today.

Quinton de Kock is going to be one key player of Mumbai Indians in their second IPL 2020 match. He was the second-highest run-scorer of Mumbai Indians with 33 runs in their first match. He was in fact the only bright side of Mumbai Indians batting apart from Saurabh Tiwary in the match against Chennai Super Kings. A brilliant player of spin bowling will have a big role to play.

Kieron Pollard was a charmer in the latest edition of the Caribbean Premier League. Under his captaincy, Trinbago Knight Riders won their fourth CPL title and the skipper continued to shower runs. Pollard regularly came to bat at number four, scored a decent amount of runs, and maintained a good balance. In the last match of Mumbai Indians, he was sent at No. 6. If he is sent a bit up, his batting can be a gamechanger.

James Pattinson was the most economical bowler of Mumbai Indians in their disappointing opening encounter. Well, that should be a good enough reason to choose him for today’s important fixture. Pattinson was a good performer with the new ball last time out. He went on to give away only 27 runs in his four overs to claim the major wicket of Sam Curran at the death. His pace can be effective.

The no. 1 ranked ODI bowler, Trent Boult should be trusted with his reputation. Boult even bowled a good opening spell in the last game against Chennai Super Kings to provide the early breakthrough. He was one of the successful MI bowlers in the last fixture as his bowling analysis read 3.2-0-23-1. With Jasprit Bumrah and Rahul Chahar alongside, Boult seems to make the perfect trio that could pick key wickets for MI.
