Indian Premier League 2024 Orange Cap: Updated After SRH vs PBKS and RR vs KKR  Match No. 69 and 70

Cricket enthusiasts have experienced the last doubleheader of the IPL 2024. Four teams locked horns for the last time in the league. In the first match of the day, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad locked horns at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals locked horns. Some batting performances impacted the orange cap table.

In the 69th match of the IPL 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings locked horns at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The match was again a high-scoring one. While batting first, Atharva Taide and  Prabhsimran Singh gave an amazing start. Taide was dismissed on 46 runs. Prabhsimran Singh played a knock of 71 runs in 45 balls. Rilee Rossow missed his half-century and was dismissed on 49 runs. Skipper Jitesh Sharma was unbeaten on 32 runs. Depending on those exceptional knocks, PBKS scored 214/5 in 20 overs. 

While chasing the target, Sunrisers Hyderabad has shown an amazing character. After losing Travis Head’s wicket early, Hyderabad made an amazing comeback. Abhishek Sharma played an exceptional knock of 66 runs in 28 balls. Rahul Tripathi scored 33 runs in 18 balls. Nitish Kumar Reddy played a knock of 37 runs in just 25 balls. Klaaseen gave a big boost by scoring 42 runs in 26 balls. They chased down the target only in 19.1 overs and won their last match of the group stage by 4 wickets. 

Another Disappointment in the RR vs KKR match:

On the second match of the day, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Barsapara Stadium. Both teams geared up for their last group stage game but rain interrupted the game. As the officials were waiting wanted the game to start the game, only the toss happened. The Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bowl first. But the rain interrupted again and the match got abandoned.
