In the sixth Indian Premier League showdown, Royal Challengers Bengaluru faced off against Punjab Kings, seeking redemption after their initial loss to Chennai Super Kings. He missed his half-century just by 5 runs.  He scored 45 runs in 37 balls. Prabhismaran Singh scored 25 runs. Sam Curran played a knock of 23 runs which pushed his Orange Cap ranking a little more. They scored 176/6. 

RCB showed amazing prowess in the second innings. Virat Kohli showed his masterclass again. On a very crucial point, he played a knock of 77 runs in 49 balls. That knock made a notable change in Orange Cap. That innings pushed the team close to winning. In the end, Dinesh Karthik and Mahipal Lomror played the finisher’s role. Dinesh Karthik remained unbeaten on 28 runs and Lomror remained unbeaten on 17 runs. RCB registered their first win by 4 wickets.
