The Dhoni Touch

This is when Musheer Shifted gears and started playing big shots which also included Dhoni’s trademark Helicopter shot which went over the ropes for a six. New Zealand did pull things back a little by picking up 5-76 in the last ten overs but the target of 296 proved to be a bridge too far as the Blackcaps were bowled out for 81.

Saumy Pandey was the pick of the Indian bowler as the spinner took four wickets, breaking the back of the New Zealand batting lineup. He was well supported by Raj Limbani who started the innings with a double wicket maiden and Naman Tiwari who also picked up a wicket.

Musheer Khan was awarded the player of the match for his all-round show with both bat and ball
