Bowling Performance of AFG vs UGA:
A new day of the T20 World Cup started with a clash between Afghanistan and Uganda. Uganda has bowled first. We have seen average bowling from Uganda’s side. They got their first wicket in the 15th over. Skipper Brian Masaba and Cosmas Kyewuta picked up 2 wickets each. Alpesh Ramjani got a wicket as well.
On the other hand, Afghanistan showcased their excellent bowling performance. Once they started getting wickets, they didn’t give any time to Uganda to recover from their collapse. Afghanistan bowler got 5 wickets in the match, which is the first fifer of this edition of World Cup. Naveen-ul-Haq and skipper Rashid Khan also got 2 wickets each. After this brilliant performance, Afghanistan won by a big margin.
The England vs Scotland Match Abandoned:
In the England versus Scotland encounter, Scotland began their innings well but faced disappointment as the match was ultimately washed out. Despite a promising start, the weather intervened, leading to the unfortunate abandonment of the game. Bowling Performance of NED vd NEP:
The very last match of the day happened between Netherlands and Nepal. Nether bowled first and beautifully. They restricted Nepal to a very low score. From the Netherlands’s side, Tim Pringle and Logan van Beek got 3 wickets each. Paul Bas de Leede and Bas de Leede also got 2 wickets each.
Nepal’s bowling effort fell short as they struggled to defend their total. Abinash Bohara, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sompal Kami each managed to claim a solitary wicket from their end. Despite their best efforts, Nepal’s bowlers faced a tough challenge in containing the opposition’s batting lineup, highlighting the competitive nature of the match.
