Having missed the IND vs ENG Test series due to the birth of his second child, Kohli’s performance in the IPL has been under scrutiny. Reports suggesting that he isn’t at his best in T20 cricket have fueled speculation about his future in the shortest format of the game.

Shastri had replied, “pick the best team and the game will grow.”
