Here’s the Reason why Marco Jansen is not playing Today’s IPL 2024 Match 8 Against Mumbai Indians

The IPl 2024 has now moved towards the eighth match. In the eighth match, Sunrisers Hyderabad is locking horns with Mumbai Indians. Both teams have lost their initial matches. In today’s match, Hyderabad is facing Mumbai on their home ground. But there is a change in the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Marco Jansen’s Absence:

After losing the first match against Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians traveled to Hyderabad for their second match. Hyderabad is also facing Mumbai after losing their first match against KKR. Both teams are eagerly waiting to register their first win in this tournament. But there is one change in the squad. 

In today’s match, Marco Jansen is missing in the playing xi. In the last match, he conceded 40 runs in 3 overs, without picking any wickets. Travis Head, who missed the opener match replaced Janes in today’s match. That is more of a strategic change. Travis Head is an excellent batter. That change may help Sunrisers to bring a desired impact in the match.  

While in the toss, SRH skipper Pat Cummins said, “Looks like a good wicket. Not too upset. It’s a tough tournament, the crowd and conditions will help. A couple of changes. Head comes in for Jansen. Natarajan has a niggle, Unadkat comes in. We got a great squad, the 11 or 12 players playing tonight got to give their everything.:

Toss Update:

In the eighth match of the league, Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bowl first. After winning the toss, Pandya said, “ We are going to bowl first. Looks like a good track, we were solid in the last game. Didn’t plan properly, that cost us the game. 13 games to go, we need to keep doing the right things. We are positive and looking forward to the challenge. Just trying to spend time with all the players. Getting to know them better. One change, Luke misses out, Maphaka comes in.”
