“He looks so hungry/Fit” Michael Vaughan Applauds Virat Kohli’s Dominance in T20 Cricket

The T20 World Cup is scheduled to happen in June. Before that big tournament, IPL is a great stage to look after the cricketers. After missing out the international cricket for two months, Virat Kohli made an amazing comeback. After scoring a half-century against PBKS, he scored another half-century against KKR. He is in an outstanding form. After watching dazzling displays, Michael Vaughan made a big comment on him.

Virat Kohli’s Amazing Display:

Following his return from the South Africa series, Virat Kohli opted out of the Test series against England, diving straight into the IPL. Surprisingly, the break seemed to enhance his performance. Kohli showcased his prowess against Punjab, delivering a remarkable innings of 77 runs in 49 balls. His aggressive play included 11 boundaries and 2 sixes, maintaining an impressive strike rate of 157.14 throughout his time at the crease.

Against KKR, he started playing where he left in the previous match. When RCB was struggling, Kohli held the innings. He played an unbeaten on 83 runs in 59 balls. His innings was decked up with 83 runs in 59 balls along with 4 boundaries and 4 over-boundaries. His strike rate was 140.68.

Michael Vaughan’s Remark:

Following his absence from T20 matches post the T20 World Cup, Kohli made a notable return against Afghanistan earlier this year. Amidst anticipation surrounding his participation in the T20 World Cup, Kohli’s reemergence in the ongoing IPL has reaffirmed his status as one of the tournament’s standout performers. Despite the hiatus, Kohli’s consistent excellence on the field continues to underscore his significance in the cricketing world.

After that, Michael Vaughan made a big comment about him. He said, “You have to say @imvkohli opening in T20 cricket and batting like he is will make India a formidable batting line up at the T20 WC .. he looks so hungry/Fit & refreshed .. it’s great to watch.”
