Mumbai: England national football team captain Harry Kane has extended his best wishes to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ahead of their crucial IPL 2024 playoffs clash against SunRisers Hyderabad in Ahmedabad. In a video shared by KKR on their social media handles, Kane, representing FC Bayern Munich, expressed his support for the team.
“Hey Kolkata Knight Riders, great start to the season. Wishing all the Knights very best for the remainder of the season. Sending all the support from FC Bayern Munich,” Kane said in the video.
KKR, led by Shreyas Iyer, have been in exceptional form, securing the top spot on the table with nine wins. The team has been greatly bolstered by the performances of Sunil Narine and Phil Salt, although Salt will be absent for the playoffs due to international commitments with England.
The support from Kane adds to the excitement as KKR aims to continue their dominant run and secure a spot in the IPL 2024 final.
