Speaking up about where the team went wrong, Hardik Pandya took to the post match ceremony to express his disappointment.

“Quite difficult. Did not play good quality cricket, eventually costed us the whole season. It’s a professional world. Have to always come out and put our best foot forward. But yes, as a group we could not play quality cricket or smart cricket.” Said Pandya

“ Too early to point out what went wrong. The whole season kind of went wrong. We can pass this game as another one (that went wrong).” Hardik added.

Rohit Sharma shines as the impact sub

MI’s ex-captain “hitman” Rohit Sharma served as an impact substitute in today’s IPL 2024 match.

The reason for his change in position could be a strategically thought idea or the fact that he could be rested before the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. In a similar fashion, MI pacer Jasprit Bumrah was also benched in today’s match to take rest for the upcoming ICC tournament.

In today’s match, Rohit Sharma did not shy away from playing well, and showed the LSG what he’s made of. Sharma scored 68 runs off of 38 balls, with a strike rate of 178.95. This has given the Indian cricket fans some hope for the upcoming ICC tournament where Rohit is to be the captain.
