The 59th match of the IPL 2024 is currently underway between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. The match is taking place at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad which is GT’s home ground for the season.

GT batter Sai Sudarshan has not only given an impressive opening partnership with the team’s captain Shubman Gill, but has also scored the fastest 1000 runs in the IPL for an Indian.
Sudarshan reached the feat in his 25th innings in the competition, trailing behind international star players like Shaun Marsh, Lendl Simmons, and Matthew Hayden in this much coveted list.
Sudarshan has finally surpassed the legendary Sachin Tendulkar in the list. Additionally it is ironic to note that Sudarshan has also left behind Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is the current captain of the opposition, CSK

If we list it down, Sai Sudarshan is definitely at the top name for scoring the fastest IPL 1000 runs. However, the list also has other big names.
Sudarshan is followed closely by Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar who achieved this feat in 31 innings.
Ruturaj Gaikwad would be third on the list, with the same stats as Sachin, but at a later date.
It is Tilak Verma who holds the fourth spot, with scoring his 1000 IPL runs in 31 innings.
It’s safe to say, that Sudarshan’s stars are in his favour.
