The ICC World Cup 2023 is going on in India. After years, India has organized the tournament again. Matches are played all over the country. All teams are performing their best. India is in a great form. They are still unbeaten in the tournament. India is the only team that hasn’t faced any defeat in this tournament. They are showing all their glory and moving forward closer to the qualifiers. 

Fixtures after the World Cup:

Currently, the World Cup is going on. It is scheduled to end on November 19. After that, another series is waiting for Team India. After concluding the biggest competition, India and Australia will be locking horns in a five-match T20 series. The series is set to start on November 23 and will end on December 3.

India’s schedule has been busy since the Asia Cup 2023. Before the World Cup, India played the Asia Cup and won it. After the Asia Cup, India and Australia played a three-match ODI series. In the first match of the series, senior players were rested because of the workload management. The same thing is likely to happen after the World Cup.

From November 23, the five-match T20 series is going to start. According to some sources, the senior players of the Indian team are likely to be rested in that series. That decision will be made to manage the workload from them. In that way, the youngsters will also get a chance to Showcase their talent. 

The Schedule:

India will face Australia in a five-match T20 series from November 23. The inaugural match of this series will be played in Visakhapatnam. The second match will be hosted at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The third T20 will be featured in the Barsapara Stadium in Assam. The fourth and fifth matches will be held at the Vidarbha Cricket  Association Stadium and Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Other news also comes through sources. It is heard that VVS Laxman is likely to be the coach of this series in Dravid’s absence. Rahul Dravid’s period will be covered after this World Cup. then VVS Laxman is likely to replace them.

India is in great form in this World Cup. After playing five matches, India is unbeaten. They registered some thrilling wins in this tournament. On October 29, India will be facing England in their sixth match. They will try hard to remain unbeaten in the tournament.
