It was a thriller match for the fans. Initially, after winning the toss, RCB opted to bowl first. While batting first, Lucknow Super Giants gave a great start. Quinton de Kock gave an excellent start. He played an excellent knock of 81 runs in just 56 balls with an exceptional strike rate of 144.64. His innings was contained with 8 boundaries and 5 over-boundaries. Skipper KL Rahul walked away after scoring 20 runs.
Marcus Stoinis played a quickfire knock of 24 runs. Nicholas Pooran played an unbeaten knock of 40 runs. While bowling, Glenn Maxwell was outstanding. He took 2 wickets in 23 runs. Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal, and Reece Topley took 1 wicket each. To win the match. RCB needs to score 182 runs.
